Kim Jonghyeon is finally here with his highly-anticipated solo debut!

On November 8 at 6 p.m. KST, Kim Jonghyeon released his first solo mini album “MERIDIEM” along with the music video for the title track.

Kim Jonghyeon participated in writing the lyrics for “Lights,” which captures the story of “afternoon,” or the story of Kim Jonghyeon after his solo debut. “Lights” is a hip hop dance song that conveys Kim Jonghyeon’s resolve to head toward the fans and this world with excitement rather than concern.

Mark your calendars for Kim Jonghyeon’s solo debut!

In late September, the agency of former NU’EST member Kim Jonghyeon (JR) confirmed that the artist was set to make his solo debut in November.

At midnight KST on October 11, Kim Jonghyeon unveiled the first teaser for his solo debut!

Titled “MERIDIEM,” Kim Jonghyeon’s first solo mini album will drop on November 8 at 6 p.m. KST. Catch his first teaser below and stay tuned for updates!

Kim Jonghyeon debuted in 2012 as NU’EST’s leader JR and parted ways with his longtime agency PLEDIS Entertainment this past February. In May, it was officially announced that Kim Jonghyeon had signed with EVERMORE Entertainment.
