Watch: Yeo Jin Goo And Cho Yi Hyun Are Connected Beyond Time Through Walkie-Talkies In Teaser For Upcoming "Ditto" Remake
The remake of the 2000 film “Ditto” has released a teaser!
“Ditto” is a story of love and friendship between two college students from different time periods who coincidentally begin to converse through walkie-talkies. Yeo Jin Goo will play Yong, a college senior living in 1999, while Cho Yi Hyun will be playing Moo Nee, a second-year college student living in 2022. Kim Hye Yoon, Na In Woo, and Bae In Hyuk will make up the rest of the cast of millennials and Gen Z-ers, who will come together in this story of timeless love.
The trailer kicks off with Moo Nee communicating with Yong through an old walkie-talkie as text appears on screen that reads, “1999 and 2022. Connected beyond time.” At first, Yong and Moo Nee doubt each other’s claims that they are attending the same school in different eras. However, as Moo Nee finds a note that Yong left in a public phone booth, she realizes that they are connected across different time periods.
Yong, who fell in love with Han Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) at first sight, asks Moo Nee for love advice. His innocent and pure personality makes viewers’ hearts flutter and raises anticipation for the discourse about love and friendship that the two will share.
