Red Velvet's Seulgi Achieves Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any SM Female Soloist With "28 Reasons"
Red Velvet’s Seulgi has made SM Entertainment history with her solo debut!
Last week, Seulgi made her long-awaited solo debut with her first mini album “28 Reasons” and its title track of the same name.
According to Hanteo Chart, “28 Reasons” sold an impressive total of 184,413 copies in the first week of its release (October 4 to 10), marking the highest first-week sales ever achieved by any female soloist under SM Entertainment.
“28 Reasons” also achieved the fifth-highest first-week sales of any album by a female soloist in Hanteo history, bested only by BLACKPINK‘s Lisa‘s “LALISA,” BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “R,” IU‘s “LILAC,” and TWICE‘s Nayeon‘s “IM NAYEON.”
