Stray Kids Becomes Artist With 2nd Highest 1st-Week Sales In Hanteo History

Stray Kids is now the artist with the second-highest first-week sales in all of Hanteo history!

Last week, Stray Kids made their return with their seventh mini album “MAXIDENT” and its accompanying title track “CASE 143.”

Hanteo Chart has now reported that after soaring past 2 million sales in less than six days, “MAXIDENT” went on to sell an impressive total of 2,185,013 copies in the first week of its release (October 7 to 13)—more than doubling Stray Kids’ previous first-week sales record of 853,021 (set by their last mini album “ODDINARY“).

With this achievement, Stray Kids has overtaken SEVENTEEN to become the artist with the second-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, bested only by BTS.

“MAXIDENT” has also achieved the fourth-highest first-week sales of any album in Hanteo history, following the BTS albums “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Proof,” and “BE.”
