
Rain's Agency Files Legal Complaints Against The Spread Of False Rumors
Rain’s agency has taken strong legal action against the spread of false rumors.
On October 17, RAINCOMPANY announced that they have completed filing the first round of complaints by requesting a police investigation against YouTubers and other individuals who spread false rumors about their artist via online communities and social media sites.
Recently, a magazine spread rumors that two top stars were having affairs with professional female golfers, and netizens speculated the stars to be Rain and Jo Jung Suk. Following reports, Rain’s and Jo Jung Suk’s agencies announced that they would be taking strong legal action.
Rain’s agency followed up with updates on their legal action. The agency announced that they will continue to monitor the situation and request further investigations against netizens who used the rumors to make false statements, slander, and insulting comments.

As stated in the notice, we have completed filing the first round of complaints by requesting a police investigation against YouTubers and those who wrote posts with false rumors about our artist via online communities, online cafes, and social media sites.
We would like to inform you that we will not stop here but will continue to request second and third rounds of investigations against YouTubers and those who wrote posts with false information, slander, and insulting comments based on the rumors related to the artist through continuous monitoring.
