"One Dollar Lawyer" Achieves Its Highest Ratings Yet Among Younger Viewers
SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer” has returned to air at the top of its time slot!
After taking one night off on Friday, when it aired a special broadcast instead of the usual new episode, “One Dollar Lawyer” resumed airing as usual on October 22. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the hit drama starring Namgoong Min scored an average nationwide rating of 14.6 percent, making it not only the most-watched program in its time slot but also the most-watched miniseries of the entire week.
“One Dollar Lawyer” also achieved its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it remained the most-watched show of the entire week as it rose to an average rating of 6.2 percent.
Viewership ratings for dramas fell across the board last night: MBC’s “The Golden Spoon,” which airs in the same time slot as “One Dollar Lawyer,” fell to an average nationwide rating of 5.6 percent for the evening.
tvN’s new historical drama “The Queen’s Umbrella” fell to a nationwide average of 7.0 percent for its third episode, marking the lowest ratings of its run thus far.
tvN’s “Blind” also dipped to an average nationwide rating of 2.2 percent, while JTBC’s “The Empire” fell to an average rating of 1.7 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 18.3 percent.
