Lee Jong Won Comes Across The Mysterious Woman Selling "The Golden Spoon"

MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “The Gold Spoon” has released new stills of Lee Jong Won!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “The Golden Spoon” is a drama about a student born into a poor family who uses a magical golden spoon to swap fates with a friend born into a wealthy family. BTOB’s Yook Sungjae stars as Lee Seung Chun, the student who hopes to turn his life around with the titular golden spoon, while Lee Jong Won plays Hwang Tae Yong, the privileged friend whose life Lee Seung Chun covets. DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon stars as Na Joo Hee, an heiress with a heart of gold who dreams of an ordinary life.

In the stills, Hwang Tae Yong comes across the old lady who is selling the golden spoon. Like Lee Seung Chun did, Hwang Tae Yong holds the blue marble in his hand and looks at it with curious eyes.

Hwang Tae Yong is surprised that the story of the old lady with the golden spoon is actually real. The lady smiles mysteriously as she hands the golden spoon to him and waits for his decision. Whether Hwang Tae Yong will decide to go back to his original life by acquiring the golden spoon and whether his attitude toward Lee Seung Chun will change after finding out about the golden spoon are intriguing points to keep an eye on.
