New Web Drama In "Love Playlist" Series Announces Brand New Cast And Premiere Date

The official cast for the upcoming drama “New Love Playlist” has been revealed!

On October 26, “New Love Playlist” revealed their entirely new cast lineup with actors Oh Yoo Jin, Yoo Jung Hoo, Bae Hyun Joon, Kim Sun Bin, Yoon Ye Joo, and Lee Ha Min.

Web drama “New Love Playlist” is the next instalment of the “Love Playlist” series which aired four seasons from 2017 to 2019. “New Love Playlist” will tell the story of college students during the COVID-19 pandemic and how they deal with feelings of love in such an unimaginable and difficult time.

Oh Yoo Jin will play the role of Do Min Joo, a media communications major who is bright and energetic in front of people she’s close with, but also has a timid and shy side. Yoo Jung Hoo will take on the role of Park Do Yoon, someone who seems quite experienced when it comes to relationships, but actually becomes a flustered mess in front of the person he sincerely likes.

Bae Hyun Joon will transform into Moon Tae Yong, a handsome and well-mannered individual with a tendency to obsess over sanitizing his hands. Kim Sun Bin plays Kim Yoo Jin, another media communications major who enjoys being around people and is quite popular on campus.

Yoon Ye Joo plays the cool and confident Yoon Seul, while Lee Ha Min transforms into Ahn Jin Woo, who is the ideal boyfriend type that everyone dreams about.

Director Kang Min Kyung shared that “New Love Playlist” was made to explore universal feelings that everyone experiences through the specific setup of modern college students. They added, “Each actor portrayed their character in their own unique way, and we were able to smoothly wrap up filming. I think the end product will be great.”

“New Love Playlist” will premiere on November 16.
