BTS's Jin Achieves 3rd Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Soloist In Hanteo History With "The Astronaut"

BTS’s Jin is achieving big things with his first solo single album!

Last week, Jin released his first official solo single “The Astronaut,” which he co-wrote together with Coldplay, on October 28.

Hanteo Chart has now reported that “The Astronaut” sold an impressive total of 770,126 copies in the first week of its release (October 28 to November 3), making Jin only the third solo artist in Hanteo history to surpass 750,000 sales in the first week of an album’s release.

“The Astronaut” also recorded the third-highest first-week sales of any album by a soloist in Hanteo history, bested only by Lim Young Woong’s “IM HERO” and EXO‘s Baekhyun‘s “Bambi.”
