K-Pop Idol Dance Machines Who Can Memorize Any Choreography In A Flash
Experienced dancers will know that memorizing choreography is a skill in itself, and it takes a lot of skill and experience to be able to perfect choreo on the first try. But these idols are total pros and can nail any dance in a flash! Keep reading to see some seriously impressive dancers.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa
In one of the most impressive idol variety show feats, Lisa memorized the choreography for Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor” in just one try! She’s well-known as one of K-pop’s best female dancers, but this is a particularly amazing trick. She had this dance nailed in less than 30 seconds! She also memorized her choreography for her solo releases in an incredibly short amount of time.
TXT’s Yeonjun
There are so many amazingly talented dancers under HYBE, but choreographer Nick Joseph picked out TXT’s Yeonjun as a performer that really impressed him. A lot of TXT’s choreographies are incredibly detailed, but Nick Joseph said that he once taught Yeonjun a piece in 45 minutes – really fast, for those who have never tried to memorize a complex dance before!
TWICE’s Momo
TWICE’s Momo released a stunning performance project last year, and fans were amazed by her talent. The even more impressive point was revealed in the behind-the-scenes vlog though – she learned the entire choreography in just two hours! For a detailed piece that involved some super high heels, that’s some really impressive memorization.
SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi
Hoshi is the leader of SEVENTEEN’s performance team, so it’s expected that he’s a super talented dancer. What fans might not know is that he’s also an incredible choreographer, and he completed this performance in just two days! Between choreography creation and memorization, there’s so much in this behind-the-scenes video to be impressed by.
ITZY
With five members, it seems like it would be easier to perfect a choreography. However, ITZY has set an incredibly impressive record – the group can have a dance memorized in just three days! All five members have some serious dance skills to be able to manage a feat like that, and the group is well-known for their difficult choreographies.
BTS’s J-Hope
As mentioned before, Nick Joseph has worked with a number of incredibly talented dancers. BTS’s “3J,” or the group’s dance line, is particularly skilled in the dance department. However, Nick Joseph chose J-Hope as the cream of the crop when it comes to memorization. He’s the best of the best, and to get recognition from someone who has worked with so many stars is no mean feat!
