Girls' Generation's Taeyeon Tests Positive For COVID-19

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon has tested positive for COVID-19.

On November 14, SM Entertainment shared the following statement announcing Taeyeon’s COVID-19 diagnosis and subsequent quarantine:

This is an announcement with regards to Taeyeon.

Hello.

Taeyeon was diagnosed with COVID-19 today [November 14].

She received a positive result on the self-test kit she administered after feeling symptoms of poor condition from the previous day, so this morning, she took a rapid antigen test and received confirmation of her positive test.

Currently, Taeyeon has halt all her activities and is quarantining in accordance to guidelines of healthcare authorities.

In the future too, we will strictly follow quarantine guidelines. With our artist’s health and safety being priority, we will do everything we can so she can focus on treatment and recovery.
