Kang Sora And Jang Seung Jo Confirmed To Play Divorced Coworkers In New Drama

Kang Sora and Jang Seung Jo are uniting for a new drama!

On November 18, it was confirmed that the two stars will be taking on the main roles in the new drama series “Can We Be Strangers?” (literal title).

The drama follows star divorce lawyer Oh Ha Ra (Kang Sora) and her ex-husband Goo Eun Beom (Jang Seung Jo) who is also a lawyer. Oh Ha Ra, an expert in her field of study, is known as “the goddess of litigation,” and she has her mind already made up about how she is meant to hate her ex-husband. But what happens when the two are brought together once again, but this time as colleagues?

The drama’s background will be a law firm that deals specifically with divorce law and is expected to be a series that showcases many relatable issues about the romance and careers of people in their 30s and 40s

Kang Sora is known for her stellar acting in dramas such as “Misaeng,” “My Lawyer, Mr. Joe,” and “Revolutionary Love” while Jang Seung Jo has made a name for himself with notable performances in dramas including “Money Flower,” “Familiar Wife,” and “The Good Detective,” drawing anticipation for their chemistry in “Can We Be Strangers?”

The drama will be directed by Kim Yang Hee who also worked on the hit 2022 drama “Our Blues” and is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.
