Watch: "Fantasy Boys," The Male Version Of Idol Audition Show "My Teen Girl," Introduces Multinational Contestants
The upcoming male version of MBC’s idol audition show “My Teen Girl” has unveiled its first teaser!
The first season of “My Teen Girl,” which gave rise to the rookie girl group CLASS:y earlier this year, featured aspiring idols battling for the chance to debut in a brand-new girl group. The program, which was helmed by “Produce 101,” “Show Me the Money,” and “Unpretty Rapstar” PD Han Dong Chul, featured Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri, (G)I-DLE‘s Jeon Soyeon, Fin.K.L’s Ock Joo Hyun, and Aiki of “Street Woman Fighter” as celebrity mentors.
Back in June, it was confirmed that “My Teen Girl” would be returning with a male version featuring numerous contestants from countries outside of Korea.
While the upcoming season of the program—entitled “Fantasy Boys”—is still recruiting applicants, it has now shared a sneak peek of some of the contestants that will be competing for the chance to debut in a new boy group.
In the newly released teaser, the “Fantasy Boys” contestants declare in their respective native languages, “My dream is to travel the entire world so that I can meet lots of different fans.”
“Fantasy Boys” will be accepting applications from November 18 to December 16, and any boy 14 years or older is eligible to apply to become a contestant.
