Chae Jong Hyeop, Seo Eun Soo, And Park Sung Woong Experience All Kinds Of Issues In Intriguing "Unlock My Boss" Posters
“Unlock My Boss” has previewed the unique teamwork between Chae Jong Hyeop, Seo Eun Soo, and Park Sung Woong in new character posters!
Based on the original webtoon of the same name, ENA’s “Unlock My Boss” is a unique comedy thriller that depicts the story of Park In Sung (Chae Jong Hyeop), an unemployed job-seeker whose life changes after he picks up a smartphone that speaks to him and gives him orders.
This smartphone has trapped the soul of Kim Sun Joo (Park Sung Woong), the CEO of a big IT corporation called Silver Lining, and the story follows Park In Sung’s journey to infiltrate the CEO’s office to find the truth. On Park In Sung’s journey, he’s joined by secretary Jeong Se Yeon (Seo Eun Soo), who is more robot-like than AI technology itself.
Ahead of the drama’s December premiere, “Unlock My Boss” has shared intriguing new character posters that tease the dynamic chemistry between Park In Sung, Jeong Se Yeon, and Kim Sun Joo, who are now all trapped in a cellphone frame.
First up is Park In Sung, whose cracked phone screen depicts the lack of direction and purpose his life currently has. Although he diligently tries to get a job, Park In Sung has nothing to show for it, except his “useless” acting degree. Even when he puts aside his dreams and tries to live realistically, his phone screen is covered in message after message of him being turned down from job interviews.
However, his life suddenly flips upside down when he randomly comes across a lost phone. As this unexpected situation turns him into a CEO overnight, viewers are left curious to see what awaits the young man and whether he’ll be able to “unlock” CEO Kim Sun Joo.
Despite being incredibly robotic and stoic, Jeong Se Yeon is still overflowing with charisma as CEO Kim Sun Joo’s youngest secretary. On her incredibly organized screen, she is overwhelmed with numerous calls, texts, calendar invites, and documents, showing just how busy her work life is. Given her jam-packed lifestyle, Jeong Se Yeon thinks that having interest in other people’s lives is a luxury. After devoting her life to Kim Sun Joo, Jeong Se Yeon undergoes a dramatic change when her boss is suddenly replaced by Park In Sung. Stay tuned to learn whether the unreadable Jeong Se Yeon will become a friend or foe in Park In Sung’s journey towards the truth!
At the core of this dramatic plot is obviously CEO Kim Sun Joo, who is in a massive state of panic while trapped inside his cellphone. On top of being trapped, Kim Sun Joo’s phone is nearing the end of its battery life with the screen struggling to stay on. CEO Kim Sun Joo is a world class developer who turns dreams into a reality. Minus good character, he has everything anyone could ever ask for, but Kim Sun Joo is left with nothing once he gets stuck inside his phone. When Park In Sung becomes his one and only lifeline, Kim Sun Joo makes him an offer of a lifetime to save both his life and his company.
The “Unlock My Boss” producers shared, “The fresh team play with a CEO who’s stuck in his smartphone world will convey newfound banter, entertaining laughs, and tense thrill. Please also look forward to the synergy between Chae Jong Hyeop, Seo Eun Soo, and Park Sung Woong who will showcase legendary character play.”
“Unlock My Boss” premieres on December 7 at 9 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki!
