BTS, Super Junior, And NCT 127 To Release K-Pop Documentaries In 2023
A bunch of new K-pop documentaries will be coming your way in 2023!
On November 30, Disney+ held their “2022 Disney Content Showcase” in Singapore where they previewed their content to come in the new year.
Among Disney+’s 2023 lineup are three K-pop documentaries starring Super Junior, NCT 127, and BTS. Super Junior’s documentary is titled “Super Junior: The Last Man Standing” and will take fans through Super Junior as a long-standing group, but also through the overall K-pop industry.
“NCT 127: The Lost Boys” will follow NCT 127 on their recent world tours in North America and Japan. Looking particularly at members Mark, Johnny, and Yuta, the series will also take a deeper look into the group’s story of growth.
BTS’s documentary will be divided into one for the group, and one for member J-Hope. The latter solo documentary will take fans through J-Hope’s preparation process for his latest solo album “Jack In The Box.” “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star” will capture BTS’s entire career journey throughout their rise into pop icons of the 21st century, with lots of never-before-seen footage.
