Kim Sae Ron Parts Ways With Agency Following Contract Expiration

Actress Kim Sae Ron has parted ways with her agency GOLDMEDALIST.

On December 1, the agency revealed, “Our contract with Kim Sae Ron has expired and we’ve decided not to renew.”

Kim Sae Ron has been with GOLDMEDALIST for the past three years, since the agency’s establishment in January 2020.

After debuting as a child actress, Kim Sae Ron has starred in popular works such as “The Man From Nowhere,” “The Neighbor,” “A Girl at My Door,” “Mirror of the Witch,” and more.

This past May, Kim Sae Ron was booked under charges of drunk driving. Kim Sae Ron then shared apologies through her agency and a handwritten letter, before stepping down from the upcoming SBS drama “Trolley.” Since the accident, Kim Sae Ron has suspended all of her activities and has reportedly visited the affected businesses to compensate them financially. In early November, GOLDMEDALIST confirmed that the actress had spent some time working part-time at a cafe due to financial difficulties.
