Watch: Lee Bo Young Aims To Prove Her Worth In The Competitive Advertising Field In Teaser For Upcoming Office Drama

JTBC has unveiled the first teaser for their upcoming drama!

“Agency” (working title) is an upcoming drama that depicts the battle between gracefully desperate advertisers through the story of Go Ah In (Lee Bo Young), the first-ever female executive of VC Group who covets the company’s highest position.

Lee Bo Young stars as Go Ah In, a Creative Director (CD) who leads Production Team 2 of VC Planning, a leading advertisement agency. Jo Sung Ha takes on the role of Choi Chang Soo, VC Planning’s Director of Planning who also has his sights set on the CEO position and struggles to control Go Ah In in the way he wants.

Son Naeun portrays VC Group’s third generation chaebol Kang Han Na who is a social media star and influencer. As she strives for independence and entrance into VC Group’s order of succession, Kang Han Na seizes the opportunity to take advantage of Go Ah In when she’s newly appointed VC Planning’s Director of Social Media.

Han Joon Woo will be playing VC Group’s secretary Park Young Woo who assists Kang Han Na as her private tutor, bodyguard, and loyal right-hand man. Jun Hye Jin will play Jo Eun Jung, a copywriter for Planning Team 2. As a working mom with a five-year-old son, she struggles to maintain balance between work and family.

The new teaser begins with the confident aura of Go Ah In as she kicks off her battle to the top. Go Ah In and everyone she surrounds herself with at work are competitive and professional advertisers who live on “ON mode” for 24 hours a day. As VC Group’s first-ever female executive, Go Ah In confidently states, “People like me who have nothing to lose do not think positively. We think financially.”

Go Ah In’s talent and competence is no secret as Choi Chang Soo remarks, “Easy things don’t suit Go Ah In.” He’s proven right as she’s tasked with what seems impossible, such as a PR commercial for a company whose chairman has been imprisoned and a presentation battle to win an advertising contract with a budget of 30 billion won (approximately $23,052,800). Despite these missions, Go Ah In firmly comments, “I’ll have to let them know why they need me.”
