Kim Sowon Thanks GFRIEND For Their Unconditional Support, Picks Her Acting Role Models, And More

Former GFRIEND member Kim Sowon has posed for @star1 magazine’s January issue!

Along with Kim Sowon’s bright and lovely photo shoot, @star1 shared their interview with the actress where she spoke about her blossoming acting career. After debuting as an actress last year, Kim Sowon recently signalled another new beginning by signing with OUI Entertainment.

Regarding her acting debut, Kim Sowon commented, “It feels like I’ve gone back to being a rookie. I still have a long way to go. Since I don’t have [a lot of] acting experience, I’m working with the mindset of a total rookie.”

She shared that her fellow GFRIEND members show endless support for her acting endeavors and thanked them, saying, “My members support everything I do. They’re ‘compliment bots.’ Since I have my members who support me no matter what, it’s so reassuring.”

Kim Sowon chose Seo Hyun Jin and Lee Bo Young as her role models as an actress and elaborated, “While watching their acting, I’m bursting with admiration in every moment. My goal is becoming an actress who is so good at acting that you get goosebumps. I really want to work hard and do well.”
