CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa And Cha Tae Hyun Can't Stand The Sight Of Each Other In New Comedy-Mystery Drama
KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Brain Cooperation” (literal translation) has shared a sneak peek of the chemistry between CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Cha Tae Hyun!
“Brain Cooperation” is a new brain science-themed comedy-mystery drama about two men who can’t stand each other, but who must work together to solve a crime case involving a rare brain disease. Jung Yong Hwa still star as neuroscientist Shin Ha Ru, who possesses an exceptionally sharp brain, while Cha Tae Hyun will play the too-kind-for-his-own-good detective Geum Myung Se, who has the brain of a pushover.
Although the frosty and cold Shin Ha Ru is a world-renowned neuroscientist who seems to have it all, there is one important thing he lacks: people skills. As a result, when he teams up with the selfless and altruistic Geum Myung Se, the two polar opposites constantly clash at every turn.
Newly released stills from the upcoming drama capture the crackling tension between these two unlikely partners, who can’t seem to go two seconds without bickering. When Shin Ha Ru stops by the police station to pay a visit to Geum Myung Se, sparks fly between the two men as they exchange a not-so-friendly conversation.
Shin Ha Ru shoots daggers at Geum Myung Se as he confronts him, while Geum Myung Se takes up a defensive stance as he glares right back with his arms crossed.
“Brain Cooperation” will premiere on January 2, 2023 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
In the meantime, watch Cha Tae Hyun in “Police University” with subtitles below!
