Ryu Jun Yeol, Yoo Hae Jin, Ahn Eun Jin, And More Celebrate "The Night Owl" Surpassing 2 Million Moviegoers
“The Night Owl” has surpassed two million moviegoers at the Korean box office!
The Korean Film Council announced that as of December 8 at 10 a.m. KST, “The Night Owl” officially surpassed two million moviegoers.
“The Night Owl” is a thriller film about a visually-impaired acupuncturist who can only see at night witnessing the crown prince’s death and struggling to uncover the truth. The film premiered on November 23 and is currently available in theaters in Korea.
Celebrating this exciting milestone, the main cast members of “The Night Owl” shared a group photo on the official social media account of the distribution company NEW, expressing gratitude for the enthusiastic support of fans.
In the photo, Ryu Jun Yeol, Yoo Hae Jin, and Park Myung Hoon are holding owl-shape dolls, which signify the film title, in their hands. Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Sung Cheol, and Jo Yun Seo are making “200” using their hands while Jo Sung Ha and Choi Moo Sung are making heart shapes on each end of the photo, commemorating two million moviegoers. The text on the bottom reads, “‘The Night Owl’ team is happy thanks to the moviegoers!”
