BTS Earns 2nd Gold BRIT Certification In 1 Week With "Love Yourself: Tear"
BTS has recorded yet another achievement in the United Kingdom!
On December 9 local time, the British Phonographic Industry announced that BTS’s “Love Yourself: Tear” had gone gold in the United Kingdom. According to the BPI’s certification standards, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units sold.

BTS’s third full album “Love Yourself: Tear” was released on May 18, 2018, and was certified silver in the United Kingdom in January 2020. This is now their fourth Korean album and fifth overall album to earn a gold BRIT certification following “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” and “Face Yourself,” which went gold just last week.
