"KPOP" The Broadway Musical To Livestream Today's Final Performance Before Closing Its Doors

Just two weeks after opening on Broadway, the new musical “KPOP” is coming to an end tonight—and fans all over the world are invited to tune in online.

On December 10 local time, the Broadway musical announced that it would be streaming its sold-out closing performance live on TikTok and Instagram the following night.

“KPOP,” an original musical that stars a number of real-life K-pop idols including Luna of f(x), Min of miss A, Kevin Woo of U-KISS, and Kim Bohyung of SPICA and KEEMBO, opened on Broadway on November 27 after a successful off-Broadway run in 2017. However, earlier this week, the musical surprised fans by announcing that after just two weeks, it would be closing its doors.

Ahead of their closing performance, the producers wrote online, “We’re overwhelmed by all of the love this week! To celebrate our amazing fans, we’re going LIVE on TikTok and Instagram tomorrow as we take our final bows. Follow along @KPOPBroadway and join the party one last time!”

The final performance of “KPOP” will be streamed live on December 11 at 5 p.m. ET (December 12 at 7 a.m. KST) on the musical’s official Instagram and TikTok accounts here and here.
