Watch: Popular Girl Group Member Shows Off Her Vocals On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” the identity of “Meat Noodles” was revealed!

During the December 11 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, four contestants continued their quest to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.

In the first match-up of Round 2, Meat Noodles showed off her beautiful voice and clear tone with a solo rendition of Davichi‘s hit song “8282.”

After her performance, the panelists attempted to figure out Meat Noodles’ identity based on the hint that her father was a soldier. Some quick searching led to a flurry of guesses, including former fromis_9 member Jang Gyuri, Go Ara, Uhm Ji Won, and Jo Yoon Hee.

Later, after factoring in her height and shoe size, Shin Bong Sun suggested that she might be STAYC’s Yoon, but Kim Gura disagreed, insisting that he’d interviewed STAYC in person and that no member had been as tall as Meat Noodles. However, Shin Bong Sun pointed out that Yoon was still a teenager, so she might have grown since he last saw her.

Meat Noodles’ opponent ultimately won Round 2, leaving her behind to take off her mask and reveal her identity—and to Kim Gura’s surprise, she turned out to be none other than STAYC’s Yoon.

“I thought I wouldn’t feel nervous singing with a mask on,” said Yoon, “but because this is my first time singing live on my own [without the other STAYC members], I ended up feeling really nervous. But I still enjoyed it.”

After the episode aired, Yoon shared several cute backstage photos on STAYC’s official Twitter account, writing, “Meat Noodles has arrived ~~ It was such a fun experience.”
