Davichi's Kang Min Kyung Donates 150 Million Won For Pediatric Cancer Patients
Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung has made a generous donation!
On December 9, Kang Min Kyung attended the donation ceremony herself and delivered 150 million won (approximately $115,000) to Yonsei University Medical Center for the social work related to pediatric cancer patients. The donation, which is being collected through an online donation method on her YouTube channel, was made under the name of “Kang Min Kyung’s YouTube subscribers” and will be used to support treatment for childhood cancer patients from low-income families at Severance Children’s Hospital.
Kang Min Kyung expressed her feelings by saying, “As [my YouTube channel] ‘iammingki’ was able to grow thanks to the subscribers’ love, I wanted to deliver this under the name of the subscribers to a place where greater love is needed. I hope it will help bring smiles to the children and adolescents with childhood cancer.”
Yoon Dong Seop, the director of Yonsei University Medical Center, shared, “I am deeply grateful to Kang Min Kyung for giving precious opportunities to children and adolescents who have not received timely treatment due to financial difficulties through this donation.”
Kang Min Kyung recently uploaded a video on her YouTube channel, informing about how to make an online donation for Yonsei University Medical Center.
