Watch: Song Hye Kyo Refuses To Forgive Her High School Tormentors In Thrilling Trailer For "The Glory"

Upcoming drama “The Glory” has released a suspenseful new trailer!

“The Glory” will tell the story of a former victim of brutal school violence who swears revenge on her bullies after becoming the elementary school homeroom teacher of her bully’s kid. Song Hye Kyo, who previously worked together with “The Glory” writer Kim Eun Sook on the hit drama “Descendants of the Sun,” will be starring as the vengeful protagonist Moon Dong Eun, while Lee Do Hyun will be playing the complicated male lead Joo Yeo Jeong.

The newly released trailer begins with Dong Eun promising to wreak vengeance as her former tormentor Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) happily walks down the aisle in a white wedding dress. After plotting an elaborate revenge scheme, Dong Eun starts to approach the perpetrators of the horrific violence she suffered—Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon), Sa Ra (Kim Hieora), Hye Jeong (Cha Joo Young), and Myeong Oh (Kim Gun Woo)—one by one, along with Yeon Jin’s husband Do Yeong (Jung Sung Il).

After realizing that her reunion with Dong Eun isn’t a coincidence, a remorseless Yeon Jin yells at her, “You should have just died back then!” Meanwhile, Sa Ra is perfectly composed as she tells Dong Eun that she doesn’t need her forgiveness, explaining, “I’ve already repented for everything I did to you, and I’ve received salvation.” Hye Jeong, on the other hand, pleads on her knees as she insists, “We all make mistakes growing up, right?”

However, Dong Eun isn’t alone in her quest for revenge. Hyeon Nam (Yeom Hye Ran) secretively approaches her and implores her, “I want to be on your side. Please kill for me.” Dong Eun also finds another ally in Yeo Jeong, who promises, “I’ll do it. I’ll be your executioner.”

The trailer ends with Dong Eun issuing an ominous warning: “You should pray to me… for you, who will fall, and for me, who will be corrupted.”
