MIRAE’s Lien will be going on a brief hiatus to receive treatment for vocal cord nodules.
On December 19, MIRAE’s agency DSP Media released a statement announcing Lien’s diagnosis with vocal cord nodules and subsequent treatment and hiatus. For Lien’s approximate two-week hiatus, MIRAE will promote as six members.

Hello. This is DSP Media.
First, we’d like to thank NOW [MIRAE’s fan club] for cherishing and loving MIRAE. This is to inform you about MIRAE’s Lien’s health status and future promotions.
Recently, Lien felt discomfort in his throat and his test results showed a diagnosis of vocal cord nodules. At the hospital, they stated that he needed treatment and rest.
After a long discussion with the agency, [Lien] decided to receive treatment following the conclusion of [MIRAE’s] Japanese promotions and after a treatment period of about two weeks, he will rest with his family and return with a healthy image.
Until Lien returns, MIRAE will promote as six members for about two weeks.
Please give Lien lots of support so he can recover his health and return.
Thank you.
On December 20, MIRAE will release their special single “Snow Prince,” a remake of their DSP senior SS501’s 2005 track of the same name.
Wishing Lien a speedy recovery!
