Kwak Si Yang Steps Down From Upcoming Weekend Drama
Actor Kwak Si Yang has stepped down from KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama.
On December 21, a representative of Kwak Si Yang shared that the actor decided to step down from “The Real Deal Has Come!” (literal title) due to scheduling conflicts after amicable negotiation with the production team.
Previously in November, Kwak Si Yang was reported to take on the lead role of Gong Tae Kyung in KBS2’s new weekend drama “The Real Deal Has Come!” The drama tells the story about the meeting of a single mother named Oh Yeon Doo (Baek Jin Hee) and an unmarried man named Gong Tae Kyung who does not want to get married.
However, Kwak Si Yang decided to step down from the drama due to scheduling conflicts with his film “Desperate Pursuit” (literal title) which started filming on December 19. Kwak Si Yang tried to coordinate the filming schedules for the film and the drama, but he decided to no longer take part in the drama in order not to cause any harm to the cast and crew.
