Watch: (G)I-DLE Dances With SHINee's Key + Gets Competitive In Preview For "Amazing Saturday" New Year's Eve Special

Get ready for a special New Year’s Eve episode of “Amazing Saturday” featuring (G)I-DLE!

On December 24, the popular tvN variety show aired a sneak peek of its upcoming episode, which will feature the five members of (G)I-DLE as guests.

In the newly released preview, host Boom welcomes (G)I-DLE to the set, then explains that things look different from usual because it’s their year-end special. Using their remaining budget for 2022, the production team has prepared a special and generous gift for the winners, and the (G)I-DLE members can’t hide their interest as the prizes are revealed.

Boom also reveals that today’s lyric-guessing game will be conducted in a team relay format, stoking the guests’ and cast members’ competitive streak. After splitting the cast and (G)I-DLE members into three teams, a fierce battle begins, and the captions tease that the fight will “get dirty” from the very start.

Things get so intense that Nucksal jokingly quotes the iconic “Squid Game” line: “We’ll all die at this rate!” Eventually, Boom winds up having to call a time-out, declaring, “We’re going to halt filming.”

Fortunately, however, the preview ends on a heartwarming note—SHINee’s Key dances to (G)I-DLE’s choreography together with the members, before everyone wishes the audience a happy new year in unison.
