WAKEONE Addresses Former TO1 Members Jerome And Woong Gi's "Boys Planet" Participation + Announces Min Su Has Left The Agency

TO1’s agency WAKEONE Entertainment has shared a statement regarding former TO1 members Min Su, Seong Min (Jerome), and Woong Gi.

On December 29, Mnet’s upcoming audition program “Boys Planet” gave its first peek at their contestants with a new performance video. Many fans were quick to notice that former TO1 members Seong Min and Woong Gi were participating in the program as WAKEONE trainees, while fellow former member Min Su was nowhere to be seen.

In response to fans’ inquiries, WAKEONE Entertainment shared a statement to confirm the contract status of each artist.

In the first half of 2022, Min Su, Seong Min, and Woong Gi decided to leave TO1 and prepare for a new start after in-depth discussions and much consideration with the company.

While contemplating their future plans, Seong Min and Woong Gi decided to apply for ‘Boys Planet.’ They did their best to prepare with the will to show something new and passed the pre-audition. They are currently filming the program.

Until recently, Min Su has been seeking future plans with the support of the company but has decided to terminate his contract with the company for a new start. WAKEONE will continue to do our best to support Seong Min and Woong Gi’s activities.

This past May, TO1 announced their hiatus to take time and reorganize following the departure of Min Su, Jerome, and Woong Gi. Despite leaving the group, the three members initially maintained their contracts with WAKEONE.

Jerome and Woong Gi have recently been introduced as “Boys Planet” contestants under their respective birth names Oh Sung Min and Cha Woong Ki. The program will air on Mnet starting February 2 at 8 p.m. KST.
