"The Forbidden Marriage" Soothes Hiatus Blues With Goofy Behind-The-Scenes Photos

In order to make up for its break this week, “The Forbidden Marriage” has shared fun behind-the-scenes photos of its stars on set!

Based on the web novel of the same name, “The Forbidden Marriage” is a romance drama starring Kim Young Dae as King Yi Heon, who falls deep into despair after the death of his wife and ends up prohibiting marriage in his kingdom. Seven years after the loss of his wife (played by Kim Min Ju), who was then the crown princess, he comes across a con artist named So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) who claims that she can be possessed by the late princess’ spirit.

Due to the 2022 MBC Drama Awards on December 30 and the 2022 MBC Music Festival on December 31, “The Forbidden Marriage” will not be airing this week. Instead, the drama will return with episodes 7 and 8 next week on January 6 and 7.

With the new love line development after So Rang pushed Lee Shin Won (Kim Woo Seok) away and started expressing her feelings toward Yi Heon, the plot thickens in “The Forbidden Marriage” as the love triangle heats up and schemes to take down Yi Heon continue. The dramatic suspense reached its fullest when they found So Rang covered in wounds and blood after she was kidnapped and tied up in a torture chamber in the last episode.

In the newly released behind-the-scenes photos, Park Ju Hyun is smiling brightly even when she’s up in the air in wires while portraying So Rang who was trying to escape after being caught for fraud. From professionally monitoring her acting in one photo to adorably making a heart in the other, Park Ju Hyun has as many charms behind the screen as her character in the drama.

In one photo, Kim Young Dae is staring shyly at the camera making a V sign, strikingly in contrast with his dignified and untouchable vibe as the powerful king in the drama. However, as soon as the director says, “Action,” and the camera rolls again, Kim Young Dae is quick to skillfully immerse himself, making viewers unable to take their eyes off him.

Meanwhile, be it on or off camera, Kim Woo Seok always radiates a warm and sweet aura. Trying his best to bring a higher level of perfection into his role, Kim Woo Seok always meticulously monitors himself during filming. The friendly chemistry of the trio creates a bright atmosphere on set, which is captured clearly through the pictures.
