"My Perfect Stranger" Starring Kim Dong Wook And Jin Ki Joo Announces Broadcast Postponement + Schedule Changes
Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo‘s upcoming drama “My Perfect Stranger” will be making some changes to its broadcast schedule.
Although “My Perfect Stranger” was slated to premiere later this month in a Wednesday-Thursday time slot, it will now air on Mondays and Tuesdays.
On January 6, a KBS representative told Xportsnews, “Although this can change, it is true that KBS’s Wednesday-Thursday dramas will be halted for the time being.” They added, “‘My Perfect Stranger’ will also be scheduled as a Monday-Tuesday drama. The premiere date and broadcast time are still undecided.”
KBS is currently airing Jung Yong Hwa and Cha Tae Hyun‘s “Brain Works” on Mondays and Tuesdays, and after it concludes, upcoming KBS drama “Oasis” (working title) starring Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Chu Young Woo is already scheduled to premiere. Since “Brain Works” is expected to conclude at the end of February and “Oasis” is set for 16 episodes, the earliest that “My Perfect Stranger” is predicted to air is in late April or May.
KBS’s “My Perfect Stranger” tells the mysterious story that unfolds when Yoon Hae Joon (Kim Dong Wook), who is traveling to the past to uncover the truth behind a series of murders, meets Baek Yoon Young (Jin Ki Joo), who is traveling through time to prevent her parents’ wedding. In the midst of their strange and beautiful journey through time, the two get stuck in the year 1987.
