PSY And (G)I-DLE To Collaborate As 1st Guests On Mnet's New Music Show

Get ready for an exciting new music show!

On January 6, Mnet confirmed they were launching “Mnet Prime Show,” a new music project that highlights two artists in one performance.

The program takes on a monthly system, with each month focusing on a new pair of artists who will prepare a collaboration performance. The first and second weeks will follow each artist’s story and they will collaborate on stage in the third week. In week four, the broadcast will take fans behind the scenes of their performance with commentary.

PSY, an energetic master of the stage, and (G)I-DLE, who has showcased charisma and individuality with each one of their comebacks, will be the first artists to be featured on “Mnet Prime Show”! Stay tuned to find out what kind of collaboration stage these two artists prepare.

Mnet also shared a teaser clip for the program with BTOB’s Eunkwang, KARA’s Heo Young Ji, Kep1er’s Choi Yu Jin and Seo Young Eun, ENHYPEN’s Jungwon and Sunghoon, choreographer Baek Gu Young (Mihawk Back), and music critic Kim Young Dae, who are panelists on Mnet’s “Music Makes One.”

The production team shared, “The hidden, unlimited potential of these artists will explode. They will unveil the best performance that rivals the ones at year-end award shows.”

“Mnet Prime Show” will premiere on February 1.
