January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from December 7, 2022 to January 7, 2023.
BTS topped the list for the 56th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 10,103,467 for January. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jungkook,” “Jin,” and “collab,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “record,” “collaborate,” and “enlist.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 83.10 percent positive reactions.
NCT rose to second place after enjoying an impressive 129.32 percent increase in their brand reputation index since last month. The group’s total score for January came out to 5,087,767.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN took third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 3,595,017.
Super Junior shot to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,962,809, marking a whopping 155.83 percent rise in their score since last month.
Finally, EXO came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,805,829, marking a 32.86 percent increase in their score since December.
