Choi Hyun Wook Confirmed To Join Season 2 Of "D.P."

Choi Hyun Wook will be starring in the new season of “D.P.”!

On January 10, a source from Choi Hyun Wook’s agency GOLDMEDALIST revealed, “Choi Hyun Wook will be starring in Season 2 of the Netflix series ‘D.P.'” Regarding his role, the source commented, “Please check out his specific role through the drama.”

Based on a popular webtoon, “D.P.” (stands for Deserter Pursuit) is about a special military squad sent to chase down deserters. Jung Hae In stars as An Jun Ho, a new recruit who is scouted for the D.P. squad before he has adapted to military life, and Goo Kyo Hwan co-stars as Han Ho Yeol, the team leader of the D.P. squad.

Last year in May, it was confirmed that main cast members including Jung Hae In, Goo Kyo Hwan, Son Suk Ku, and Kim Sung Kyun will be returning for Season 2, portraying great chemistry once again along with the addition of new cast members Ji Jin Hee and Kim Ji Hyun.

After starring in “Taxi Driver” and “Racket Boys” in 2021, Choi Hyun Wook went on to impress further in 2022 with “Twenty Five, Twenty One” and “Weak Hero Class 1.”
