Kim Jung Hyun, Im Soo Hyang, And More Exude Happy Vibes By Their Partners' Sides In "Kokdu: Season Of Deity" Poster

MBC has raised viewers’ anticipation for “Kokdu: Season of Deity” by unveiling eye-catching and colorful character posters!

“Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a new fantasy romance which tells the story of a grim reaper named Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun) who comes down to this world to punish humans every 99 years. When Kokdu meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a doctor with mysterious abilities, he starts working as a visiting doctor.

The newly released character posters capture the unique characteristics of Kokdu, Han Gye Jeol, Tae Jung Won (Dasom), Han Chul (Ahn Woo Yeon), Ok Shin (Kim In Kwon), and Gak Shin (Cha Chung Hwa) respectively.

In the first image, the god of the underworld Kokdu captures viewers’ attention with his dignified expression and posture. Walking through the tangled branches in the dark, he showcases his power and pride as the god of the underworld who has nothing to fear.

In the next image, Han Gye Jeol makes energetic footsteps with a delightful expression while carrying her bag for house visits. She exudes positive energy which gives a hint on her personality and virtue as a visiting doctor. Viewers are curious to find out the past stories between Han Gye Jeol and Kokdu, who seem to have nothing in common from their expressions to their gaits.

In the poster below, golden girl Tae Jung Won overwhelms viewers with her confident expression and intense gaze. This seemingly perfect woman will fall in love at some point and turn into a romantic yet aloof lover, raising anticipation for her transformation.

Meanwhile, in the next poster, Han Chul showcases his determination and sharp instinct as a detective who will never let go of the criminal.

In another poster, the god of greed Ok Shin and the god of rumors Gak Shin stand proudly back to back. As the saying that goes, “Discord in the world begins with money and ends with rumors,” the two always quarrel, but they are perfect partners who cannot be separated. They are expected to add excitement to the story by bringing about various incidents while clinging to Kokdu who will spend a very special 99 days in this world.
