This month, five different albums received certifications! ITZY’s latest release “CHESHIRE” is the only album this month to receive a million certification. Both Red Velvet’s “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” and LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” have gone triple platinum after surpassing 750,000 sales. Additionally, debut releases “Indigo” by BTS’s RM and “New Jeans” by NewJeans are now certified double platinum.
In the streaming category, eight artists were given new platinum certifications, which are issued after songs surpass 100 million streams.
Going double platinum was Jo Jung Suk’s “Hospital Playlist” OST “Aloha” as well as Jannabi’s hit 2019 track “for lovers who hesitate” after both tracks accumulated more than 200 million streams.
