Circle Chart Reveals Year-End Digital And Album Charts For 2022

Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart) has announced overall chart results for 2022!

On January 13, the yearly digital chart and album chart were released for last year.

The results are based on accumulated weekly data since January 2022, so albums and songs released earlier in the year have more weekly scores included in the results.

Digital Chart

IVE’s “LOVE DIVE” topped the overall digital chart for 2022 and is followed by (G)I-DLE’s “TOMBOY” at No. 2. MeloMance took up the next two spots with member Kim Min Seok’s “Drunken Confession” at No. 3 and the duo’s song “Love, Maybe” from the “Business Proposal” OST at No. 4. Lim Young Woong’s “Love Always Run Away,” a song released in 2021 for the “Young Lady and Gentleman” OST, took No. 5.

BTS topped the album chart for the seventh consecutive year, recording 3,482,598 sales for “Proof.” Stray Kids followed in second with 3,176,233 copies sold for “MAXIDENT,” achieving their first top five score on Circle’s yearly chart. SEVENTEEN’s “Face the sun” ranked No. 3 with 2,867,353 sales, while BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” placed No. 4 with 2,522,941 albums sold. NCT DREAM rounds up the top five with 2,095,544 copies for “Glitch Mode.”
