January Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 579 girl group members, using big data collected from December 15, 2022 to January 15, 2023.

NewJeans’ Minji topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,899,310, marking a 14.81 percent increase in her score since December. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “OMG,” “Ditto,” and “Attention,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “innocent,” “pretty,” and “radiant.” Minji’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 89.90 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jennie took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 4,416,607.

NewJeans’ Hanni rose to third place after seeing a 29.67 percent increase in her brand reputation index since last month, bringing her total score for January to 3,933,448.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo came in a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,908,118, marking a 28.15 percent rise in her score since December.

Finally, New Jeans’ Haerin rounded out the top five for January with a brand reputation index of 3,451,834, marking a 24.99 percent increase in her score since last month.
