HA:TFELT (Yeeun) Parts Ways With Amoeba Culture After Nearly 6 Years + Shares Sweet Message With Fans

HA:TFELT (Yeeun) and Amoeba Culture will be going their separate ways after nearly six years.

On January 16, Amoeba Culture shared the following statement to announce the conclusion of HA:TFELT’s exclusive contract:

Hello. This is Amoeba Culture.

Following a long and in-depth discussion, Amoeba Culture and HA:TFELT have decided to end our exclusive contract.

We first started our relationship in spring 2017 and our time of over five years was always a series of new things and challenges for each other.

As Amoeba Culture’s first-ever female artist, and as HA:TFELT’s official start as a singer-songwriter, she took the courage to share her honest story for the first time. Although both parties had not tried this until that time, we did our best to deliver music, performances, and various stories in our own way.

Now, we will stop walking step-by-step and put these past days behind us, but will preciously cherish our relationship and memories.

We ask [Wonder Girls’ fans] Wonderfuls, [HA:TFELT’s fans] PLUM, and many others for interest in and unchanging affection for HA:TFELT, who is aiming to start a new journey to sprout again, just like the approaching spring.

We hope that the future of HA:TFELT, who does her best with the most sincere heart in both life and music, is always full of smiles and happiness. Once again, we’d like to thank HA:TFELT, who has shared deep trust with us for a long time.

Hello, this is HA:TFELT.

Starting from 2023, the new year, I have come to part ways with Amoeba Culture, where I’ve been for the past five years and eight months.

I want to deeply and sincerely thank Dynamic Duo, our CEO, and every member of our Amoeba Culture family, who led me to walk step-by-step on a road solely for the artist HA:TFELT, when six years ago, I had a thirst for music but was lost and didn’t know where to start.

After I met Amoeba Culture, I learned so much from the moments we spent together and I was happy to have been with such good people. I will always remember the heart and warmth with which they were with me as colleagues and family so that I could exist solely as artist HA:TFELT, and love life as human Yeeun.

New beginnings are always scary, but I will also believe those who believe in and support me, and try to take another step forward. I will become an artist who learns and grows endlessly.

Once again, I’d like to thank Amoeba Culture for being with me.
I will return soon with new music.

Following Wonder Girls’ disbandment in early 2017, HA:TFELT (Yeeun) parted ways with her longtime agency JYP Entertainment. Later that year, HA:TFELT joined Amoeba Culture as a solo artist.
