2011 Drama "Dream High" To Be Adapted Into A Musical
“Dream High” is set to be made into a musical!
On January 26, Art One Company revealed that later this year, “Dream High” will be presented as a show musical that combines traditional musicals and dance.
KBS2’s “Dream High” is a 2011 drama set at a competitive arts high school that follows the story of six students trying to achieve love and their dreams in the music industry. The drama boasts an incredibly star-studded cast including Kim Soo Hyun, Suzy, IU, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung, Park Jin Young, Lee Yoon Ji, Uhm Ki Joon, Bae Yong Joon, and more.
The upcoming musical will draw out the stories of these students after they graduate high school. With the original drama as the foundation, this musical will bring to life the stories that fans have only been imagining for over a decade, but will also be a charming performance for viewers who have not seen the drama.
By combining traditional musicals with dance, this “Dream High” performance will be like watching a concert. On top of the anticipation to see how this musical comes to life, curiosity is rising to see who is cast in these iconic roles played by top stars.
