Lee Hak Joo And Lee Da In Confirmed To Join Namgoong Min And Ahn Eun Jin In New Historical Romance Drama
MBC’s upcoming drama “Lovers” (literal title) has confirmed Lee Hak Joo and Lee Da In as the second leads!
On January 26, MBC stated that Lee Hak Joo and Lee Da In are confirmed to take on the roles of Nam Yeon Joon and Kyung Eun Ae, two characters that will add excitement to the story.
“Lovers” is a historical romance drama taking place in the Joseon Dynasty that tells the story of a man, who has declared that he will not marry, falling in love with a woman who dreams of love again even after two failed marriages. Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Namgoong Min will play the role of Lee Jang Hyun, a mysterious man who suddenly appears in Neunggeun Village’s high society one day, and Ahn Eun Jin will star as Yoo Gil Chae, the second daughter of a noble family who reigns as a socialite goddess with her beauty and charm.
Lee Hak Joo, who impressed through various dramas including “Artificial City,” “Shadow Detective,” “My Name,” and “Political Fever,” will play Nam Yeon Joon, a promising Confucian student studying at Sungkyunkwan. He is a person who values becoming a kind and wise person more than anything else and has strong loyalty to the king and heartfelt love for the people.
Lee Da In, who showcased her stable acting skills in various projects including “Hwarang,” “My Golden Life,” “Doctor Prisoner,” and “Alice,” will take on the role of Nam Yeon Joon’s fiancée and Yoo Gil Chae’s closest friend Kyung Eun Ae. Kyung Eun Ae is a wise and benevolent woman who sees the bright side of the world. Despite going through many ups and downs in life, she maintains her love and faith for Nam Yeon Joon. Viewers’ anticipation is high for Lee Hak Joo’s and Lee Da In’s acting transformations which will be shown through “Lovers.”
