Girls' Generation's Seohyun In Talks To Join Sci-Fi Film Reportedly Starring Goo Kyo Hwan And Yoo Jae Myung

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun may be appearing in her first sci-fi project!

On February 8, Seohyun’s agency Namoo Actors shared with TV Report, “Seohyun is reviewing her appearance in ‘Finding the King’ [literal title].”

Director Won Shin Yeon’s upcoming first sci-fi film “Finding the King” is set in summer 1980 and follows the story of a boy who meets a giant robot in a remote village in a demilitarized zone.

Previously, it was reported that Goo Kyo Hwan and Yoo Jae Myung were positively reviewing offers to star in the film. Goo Kyo Hwan has received an offer to play a doctor who’s been dispatched to villages in the demilitarized zone, while Yoo Jae Myung will reportedly play a village citizen with a strong sense of justice. If Seohyun appears in the film, she will play the only nurse at the village’s health center.

Last year, Seohyun starred in Netflix’s “Love and Leashes” and KBS2’s “Jinxed at First,” and is currently awaiting the releases of her upcoming film “Holy Night: Demon Hunters” (literal title) and Netflix series “Song of the Bandits.”
