Park Eun Bin Confirmed To Star In New Romantic Comedy Drama

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” star Park Eun Bin will be returning to the small screen!

On February 9, production company Kakao Entertainment shared that actress Park Eun Bin is confirmed to star in the upcoming drama “Diva of the Deserted Island” (literal title).

“Diva of the Deserted Island” is a romantic comedy following the story of a girl who drifted out onto a deserted island after an accident and is discovered 15 years later. The story will follow her as she adapts to the world she had been isolated from. Director Oh Choong Hwan and writer Park Hye Ryun, who previously worked together on “While You Were Sleeping” and “Start-Up,” will be coming together once again for this new drama.

Park Eun Bin will be taking on the role of Seo Mok Ha, a girl who gets rescued from an uninhabited island after 15 years. In a completely new and unfamiliar world, Mok Ha takes brave steps toward her dream of becoming a singer and does not lose her laughter and hope even in difficult situations.

Previously, it was reported that Chae Jong Hyeop is also in talks to join the drama as the male lead Bo Geol who has a deep connection with Mok Ha and an affectionate personality.

Park Eun Bin showcased her acting skills through the hit drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” last year, causing a syndrome among K-drama fans. The actress is expected to impress viewers once again through her role Mok Ha. Park Eun Bin remarked, “I will prepare well and return together with Mok Ha.”

“Diva of the Deserted Island” is scheduled to kick off production in the first half of 2023. Stay tuned!
