Choi Jin Hyuk Confirmed To Join Kim Myung Soo For Upcoming Drama
Choi Jin Hyuk and Kim Myung Soo (L) will be starring in a new drama about accountants together!
Previously known as “Accounting Firm,” “Numbers: Surveillant of the Forest of Buildings” (literal title) is the first Korean drama that sheds light on the world of accounting firms and accountants. Back in November, both Choi Jin Hyuk and Kim Myung Soo were revealed to be in talks for the drama, which was followed by news of Yeonwoo and Choi Min Soo also being in talks. Earlier on February 6, INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo and Sungyeol’s agency Management 2sang confirmed that the two will be starring in the drama together, and soon afterwards on February 9, Choi Jin Hyuk was also confirmed for the drama.
For his first role after being discharged from the military, Kim Myung Soo will be playing the role of Jang Ho Woo, the first and only high school graduate accountant to join Taeil Accounting Firm, which is among the Big 4 accounting firms in Korea. Mathematically talented with excellent memory as well as observation skills and full of resources, the drama will highlight Jang Ho Woo’s story of fulfilling the justice he dreams of.
Choi Jin Hyuk will play Han Seung Jo, the only son of the vice president of Taeil Accounting Firm. Blessed with a well-off family, exceptional educational background, and a handsome face, Han Seung Jo is the jack of all trades who isn’t lacking anything in life.
The production team commented, “The casting of the two actors alone already made up a reliable lineup. We are anticipating the two actors’ perfect synchronization with their characters and the vision they will complete upon working together. We think their synergy will be the first thing viewers should anticipate from the drama. We ask for your interest and anticipation.”
The drama is set to premiere in the first half of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates!
