ATEEZ's Hongjoong Reveals He Broke His Front Tooth During Amsterdam Concert

ATEEZ’s Hongjoong suffered an unfortunate injury during the first stop of their Europe tour.

On February 10, ATEEZ kicked off the European leg of their “THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL” world tour at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

The following day, Hongjoong revealed on the fan platform UNIVERSE that while the concert had otherwise gone off without a hitch, he had chipped his front tooth while performing.

“You know something?! My tooth broke again… this time, it’s kind of a big deal!” wrote Hongjoong. “I think it’s just a healthy tooth..! But I hit it with my mic, hehehehehehehe. It’s my front tooth! I don’t have veneers, so it’s just my real front tooth… but you can kind of see it, hehehe. I look a little silly. When I go [back] to Korea, I’ll go to the dentist.”

However, he reassured fans, “It doesn’t hurt!! When I get really into performing at a concert, I keep hitting [my teeth] with the mic.” He then added in English, “Yes I broke my teeth myself.”

In response to fans’ questions about the broken tooth, Hongjoong elaborated, “From a distance, you can’t see it! But from up close, I look silly, hehe.”

We hope Hongjoong’s tooth is okay and that he gets treated soon!

Meanwhile, ATEEZ will be performing at Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena on February 14 and 15 for the next stop of their tour.
