3 Things To Look Forward To In The New Variety Show 'Jinny's Kitchen'

As the premiere of Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and BTS’s V’s upcoming variety show “Jinny’s Kitchen” nears, the production team has revealed three points to anticipate in the new program!

“Jinny’s Kitchen” is a spin-off series of the popular reality show “Youn’s Kitchen” featuring a new restaurant run by Lee Seo Jin who has been promoted from the director of “Youn’s Kitchen” to the boss of the new restaurant. Whereas the previous restaurant ran by Youn Yuh Jung focused on bulgogi, bibimbap, and other foods that are famously known to represent Korea, “Jinny’s Kitchen” will shine a light on street food, the “fast food of Korea,” and present viewers with a lighter and more approachable menu.

The show has previously unveiled a teaser introducing its Avengers-like cast. From boss Lee Seo Jin to director Jung Yu Mi, executive manager Park Seo Joon, and interns Choi Woo Shik and BTS’s V, viewers are already eager to see the members’ chemistry and their highly-anticipated cooking skills.

Now with the premiere just around the corner, here are three things to keep an eye out for in the show!

1. Result-oriented boss Lee Seo Jin vs. ambitious employees

In another teaser video previously released, every employee without exception commented that “Lee Seo Jin has changed since he became the boss” and pointed out how the depth of his dimples was also in proportion to their restaurant’s sales. According to the production team, Lee Seo Jin as the new boss puts forward “profit is king” as his restaurant’s management philosophy while the employees now have a newfound dream of “setting up their own restaurant.”

From Lee Seo Jin who will showcase his inner Jekyll and Hyde side to the employees who now establish a new goal to be the boss of their own “second Jinny’s Kitchen” after seeing Lee Seo Jin’s scary change of attitude, anticipation is high to see the hilarious chemistry between the new boss and the four employees.

2. Lee Seo Jin’s right-hand and left-hand man — who will become the ace?

Watch out to find out who will become the restaurant’s ace! Here, director Jung Yu Mi who is in charge of making the signature menu of “Jinny’s Kitchen,” gimbap (Korean dish made from cooked rice), is a strong contender. It is no exaggeration to say that much of the restaurant’s sales depend on her as she’s the one who calls the shots in the kitchen thanks to her exceptional cooking skills.

However, there is another formidable candidate on the list — Park Seo Joon! Starting as the youngest in “Youn’s Kitchen,” Park Seo Joon climbed his way up and was promoted to the manager in “Youn’s Stay” and finally became the executive manager of “Jinny’s Kitchen.” With his long experience working alongside Lee Seo Jin, will Park Seo Joon successfully become his right-hand man?

3. Maknaes on top, the two interns’ brilliant performances

The chemistry between the two interns Choi Woo Shik and BTS’s V will be one that constantly brings laughter to viewers. Choi Woo Shik, who joined as the all-rounder intern in “Youn’s Stay” is now in charge of promoting the restaurant. Meanwhile, BTS’s V who is joining the show as the determined and skillful new intern is expected to show different charms of him that fans haven’t been able to see before. Stay tuned to see the two maknaes’ journey as they adapt and eventually captivate everyone’s attention on the show!

Don’t forget to also catch a glimpse of the cast’s chemistry through their appearance on “The Game Caterers 2,” which will be released via Channel Fullmoon on YouTube on February 20 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
