Honey Lee Confirmed To Star In New Historical Drama
Honey Lee has been confirmed for a new historical drama she was previously in talks for!
On February 21, it was confirmed that Honey Lee will be starring in the new MBC drama “Flower That Blooms at Night” (literal title).
“Flower That Blooms at Night” is a comedy investigative sageuk (historical drama) that depicts the double life of a widow. The upcoming drama is the newest project by PD (producing director) Jang Tae Yoo of “My Love from the Star,” “Tree With Deep Roots,” and “Lovers of the Red Sky.”

During the day, Jo Yeo Hwa, who is the daughter-in-law of the greatest noble family, lives a quiet and modest life as a virtuous woman who cannot see the world outside the fence, but at night when the sun goes down, she jumps over the fence and goes out into the world to take care of those in need without anyone knowing.
Honey Lee previously captivated audiences through her performance in SBS’s “One the Woman,” which snagged her the Top Excellence Award at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards. In December 2021, she tied the knot with her non-celebrity boyfriend and welcomed her daughter to this world in June 2022.
“Flower That Blooms at Night,” which will be Honey Lee’s comeback drama, is gearing up for production with the goal of broadcasting in the second half of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates!
