KCON 2023 Japan And LA Announces Dates And Venues
KCON 2023 has announced this year’s dates and locations!
KCON is a major convention and music festival that celebrates Korean pop culture and entertainment, and it includes concerts featuring performances by popular K-pop artists. Excluding a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the convention has been held annually in countries such as the United States, France, Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and more since 2012.
Late last month, KCON confirmed their return to Thailand this March after nearly four years. KCON 2023 Thailand will be held on March 18 and 19 with the performer lineup including GOT7’s BamBam and Youngjae, (G)I-DLE, iKON, and more.
Following the event in Thailand, KCON 2023 will head to Tokyo, Japan and run from May 12 to 14 at convention center Makuhari Messe. Later in the summer, KCON will be held from August 18 to 20 in Los Angeles at Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center. In addition to these in-person events, KCON 2023 will be available to watch online for fans around the globe.

At both upcoming events in Tokyo and LA, KCON plans to prepare content that suits each city. Kim Hyun Soo, the head of CJ ENM’s Convention Live Business Department, commented, “KCON, which started with 10,000 audience members in 2012, and has now established itself as the world’s largest K-culture festival, will start this year in Thailand and visit global Gen Z in Japan and the United States. As a platform that is always evolving, we will pour our strength into actively and positively introducing K-pop and K-culture.”
