Watch: Song Hye Kyo Welcomes You To Her Hell In Daunting Teasers For "The Glory" Part 2
“The Glory” has unveiled a daunting main poster and new teaser for Part 2!
First released this past December, “The Glory” is hit writer Kim Eun Sook’s newest project that tells the story of a former victim of brutal school violence who swears revenge on her bullies after becoming the elementary school homeroom teacher of her bully’s kid. Song Hye Kyo stars as the vengeful protagonist Moon Dong Eun, while Lee Do Hyun plays the complicated male lead Joo Yeo Jeong.
The drama’s main poster features Moon Dong Eun and Joo Yeo Jeong in the center of a grim forest covered in morning glory, which is known as the “devil’s flower.” They’re surrounded by various other characters including Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), Kang Hyeon Nam (Yeom Hye Ran), Ha Do Yeong (Jung Sung Il), and more. At the top it reads, “Come on in, welcome to my hell.”
In the tense new teaser, every moment is overflowing with emotion and drama. As Moon Dong Eun prepares to go after her enemies, she’s asked, “When this revenge ends, will you become happy?” After Moon Dong Eun meets up with her bully Park Yeon Jin, she’s left fuming as Park Yeon Jin comments, “Your life has already been hell since you were born.”
Referring to Park Yeon Jin’s posse of bullies, Son Myeong Oh (Kim Gun Woo) tells Moon Dong Eun, “You know they’re all murderers, right? I’m the only one who’s innocent. Just me.” Moon Dong Eun calmly responds, “There’s no way.”
As Joo Yeo Jeong steps up to help Moon Dong Eun get revenge, Park Yeon Jin scoffs and asks, “Why do those with nothing only believe in things like poetic justice and karma?” Moon Dong Eun explains to Park Yeon Jin, “It’s not running away, it’s hope.”
While Joo Yeo Jeong comes to realize that Moon Dong Eun is his salvation, Park Yeon Jin, Choi Hye Jeong (Cha Joo Young), Lee Sa Ra (Kim Hieora), and Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon) angrily begin enlisting resources to go after her. Eventually, Joo Yeo Jeong decides, “I’m going to live as a mad man.” His mother tells him, “Don’t get caught then.”
Following a dramatic montage of everyone’s fits of rage, Moon Dong Eun quietly comments, “I hope it burned for you too. I hope it burned and was painful.”
