Kim Dong Wook And Chun Woo Hee Confirmed To Star In New Drama
Kim Dong Wook and Chun Woo Hee will be starring in a new drama together!
tvN’s upcoming drama “Beneficial Fraud” (literal translation) is a revenge drama about a con artist who lacks empathy and an attorney who is excessively empathetic by nature. In order to battle evil, these two polar opposites team up to form an unlikely alliance. The drama will be helmed by director Lee Soo Hyun, who previously worked with Kim Dong Wook on his 2020 drama “Find Me in Your Memory.”
Kim Dong Wook will take on the role of Han Moo Young, a handsome lawyer who needs to receive psychiatric treatment due to his excessive empathy, which can otherwise make it hard for him to function in daily life.
Chun Woo Hee will play Lee Ro Um, a genius fraudster with no empathy who makes a fortune with her thousand faces and flamboyant speech.
The production team remarked, “‘Beneficial Fraud’ is a project that delivers a strong sense of catharsis through the process of a man and a woman with completely different temperaments meeting and taking revenge together for one goal. In this regard, Chun Woo Hee’s and Kim Dong Wook’s acting will provide viewers thrill and vicarious pleasure.”
“Beneficial Fraud” will premiere on May 29 at 8:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
